Essex Cabinetmakers Ltd (Est. 1987) & Comshape Technology Ltd (Est. 1992) have been successfully working for more than 30 years to create high quality kitchens, house & office fitouts and shop fittings.

Based in New Lynn Auckland, your first point of contact is Tracey in Reception / accounts who will direct you, depending on your needs, to one of the management team, Mike Paul or Cliff Armstrong who will, using their own cabinetmaking experiences, guide you through the process of design, material choice & pricing. From there, if the project proceeds, Mike & Cliff work along side the client through out the term of the project, answering questions and solving problems as they arise, with help from our factory Forman of 20 years, Tony Fowler.

With a constantly changing market place we have had to adapt by developing new products and investing in sophisticated machinery to remain competitive, this has resulted in a modern, well equipped factory utilizing 18000 sqft and housing 12 cabinetmakers, polishers and installers, who all take pride in what they do and have the skill of being able to think out of the square, utilizing their experience to tackle almost anything.

We have a high standard to which we build that guarantees quality and durability, it is something we take very seriously and is the foundation on which the company was built. Through these standards, and the ability to offer a professional and informative service we manage to keep adverting to a minimum by securing a high percentage of work via repeat business and word of mouth.

We are extremely proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 31 years.
